Had the great fortune of seeing Ladysmith Black Mombazo in live performance today. Fantastic concert. I have a couple of their albums but had never even seen them televised before. I had no idea how energetic and lively they were. Nor how humorous. We had a blast. It was a sell-out crowd.
We did managed to keep my daughter up late for two nights running, though. So with the concert and today's crab festival (yum), she was plum tuckered out.
I still think it's amazing how much world class entertainment makes it out to this little coastal town of ~19,000 people. Fortunately we have a really good auditorium; two blocks from the house.
